Mount Pleasant PD responding to bank robbery

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The Mount Pleasant Police Department (MPPD) is responding to a Friday afternoon bank robbery in Mount Pleasant.

According to MPPD, officers were on scene at a bank on Highway 17 near Highway 41 as of 4:31 p.m.

Witnesses reported a large police presence in the area.
