Deputies investigating suspicious package found near Dorchester County home

DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD)- Authorities are responding to reports of a suspicious package found in Dorchester County on Friday afternoon.

According to the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO), the package was found near a home off Butternut Road.

An investigation is underway.
