Crews working to rescue man trapped in hole off Red Bank Road

GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (WCBD) – Rescue crews in Goose Creek are working to extricate a construction worker trapped in a hole.

The incident happened amid a water main project Friday morning off Red Bank Road near the Days Inn.

Injuries are currently unknown.

The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office and Goose Creek Fire are assisting in the extraction.
