Woman wanted again for Clemson ticket scam
MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities in Mount Pleasant are searching for a woman who is again wanted in connection with a Clemson ticket scam.
Abbryanna Dutill McGowan, 28, was previously arrested by the Mount Pleasant Police Department (MPPD) and was convicted of obtaining goods under false pretenses for selling fake Clemson tickets.
But additional victims have come forward since that arrest and conviction, according to police. McGowan currently has an active warrant out of Mount Pleasant PD on similar charges.
Accusations against McGowan stretch beyond the Charleston area. She was also wanted for selling fake tickets in Anderson County. A spokesperson for the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office said in September that McGowan also had cases in the city of Greenville, Greenville County, and North Carolina also have cases against her.
If you know where McGowan may be, you are asked to contact Detective Schnackenberg at 843-884-4176 or email [email protected].
