1 injured after truck crashes into side of North Charleston business

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Emergency crews responded to a truck that crashed into a North Charleston business on Monday morning.

Photos from the scene showed a red pickup truck had crashed into the side of the building from the parking lot. Details regarding the crash are limited.

The building is located at 3189 Ashley Phosphate Road. It’s not clear if anyone was inside the business at the time.

A spokesman for the North Charleston Police Department said one person was taken to a hospital for treatment; however, the extent of their injuries is unknown.
