Williamsburg Co. mobile home fire under investigation
WILLIAMSBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities are investigating a Tuesday evening mobile home fire in the White Oak community.
Firefighters with the Williamsburg County Fire Department (WCFD) were called out to I M Graham Road around 6:00 p.m., where they found heavy fire at a doublewide mobile home.
“Most of the fire was extinguished fairly quickly by our firefighters and with assistance from South Lynches Fire Rescue and Kingstree Fire Department,” officials said.
The mobile home was destroyed by the fire and one resident was displaced.
Fire officials say the cause of the fire is undetermined; however, its origin is under investigation by the Williamsburg County Sheriff’s Office and State Law Enforcement Division.
No injuries were reported.
