Can’t-miss food and chef demos at this year’s Southeastern Wildlife Expo
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The 42nd Annual Southeastern Wildlife Exposition is almost here, and with its arrival comes plenty of opportunities to taste some of the best food the Lowcountry has to offer.
In addition, if you attend a chef demo on Sunday, be on the lookout for longtime News 2 Anchor Carolyn Murray as she cooks up a favorite recipe alongside James Beard nominee Chef James London of Chubby Fish at noon.
South Carolina Waterfowl Association Annual Sportsman’s Ball
The Omar Shrine Temple, Feb. 16, 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.
SCWA says this ball is a “wild game feast” with dinner, cocktails, raffles, and a silent and live auction

Ducks Unlimited Oyster Roast and Lowcountry Cookout
Charleston Visitor Center Bus Shed, Feb. 16, 6:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
This cookout marks number 27 at SEWE for East Cooper Ducks Unlimited. It is a classic Lowcountry cookout with oysters, an open bar, music, a raffle, and live and silent auctions. The admission price for the party also includes a 2024 Ducks Unlimited membership.

Fresh on the Menu: Certified SC Chef Demos
Marion Square, Feb. 16 – 18, times vary
Several South Carolina chefs, farmers, and home cooks will show the crowd how they make some of their favorite recipes using locally grown and produced ingredients. Guests will be able to sample products from producers, processors, and vendors in the Certified South Carolina program.
