Section of Magrath Darby Blvd to temporarily close; detours set up while crews work

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) — A section of Magrath Darby Boulevard in Mount Pleasant will be temporarily closed for two weeks due to road work.

Crews will work on Magrath Darby Blvd at the Coleman Blvd intersection beginning Feb. 26. The roadway is expected to reopen, and the work will be finished by Mar. 11.

While the area is closed, a detour will be in place to help drivers navigate around the area. Drivers are encouraged to use Houston Northcutt Blvd and Johnnie Dodds Blvd to access Magrath Darby Blvd, said Truluck Construction.

Drivers are asked to be cautious and pay attention to workers when traveling in the area.
