Charleston Police investigating shooting in West Ashley, 1 injured
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — One person was injured following a shooting in West Ashley Friday afternoon.
Charleston Police responded to a shooting at 3:26 p.m. in the area of Curtiss Avenue and Culver Avenue, said Terry Cherry with CPD.
When officers arrived, they learned that one victim had been taken to the hospital by a family member with a non-life-threatening injury.
Detective and Crime Scene units responded to the location where the shooting was reported.
CPD says they are investigating this case. No arrests have been made; however, police say there is no threat to the public.
