Winning $10K Mega Millions ticket sold in Summerville

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCBD) – Did you purchase a Mega Millions ticket in Summerville? You may have won $10,000 in Tuesday night’s drawing.

The winning ticket was purchased at Murphy’s Express at 10655 Dorchester Road.

Officials with the South Carolina Education Lottery (SCEL) said the lucky player matched four white ball numbers and the gold Megaball number to win a $10,000 prize.

The winning numbers for Tuesday, March 5 are: 2 – 49 – 50 – 61 – 70 and the Megaball is 14.

Lottery officials say more than 16,000 players in South Carolina hold prizes from $2 up to $10,000 and are encouraged to check their tickets. Players have 180 days from the date of their drawing to claim their prizes.

The Mega Millions jackpot for Friday is an estimated $687 million.
