Crews responding to fire on Isle of Palms near Ocean Blvd

ISLE OF PALMS, S.C. (WCBD) – Multiple crews are responding to a house fire on Isle of Palms Sunday afternoon.

According to Sergeant Matthew Storen, Isle of Palms Police Department (IOPPD), IOPPD is currently on the scene and the Isle of Palms, Sullivans Island and Mount Pleasant Fire Department are assisting with the fire.

Sergeant Storen says the fire is on the 500 block of Ocean Blvd and asks drivers to avoid the area while emergency personnel are assisting the fire.

No injuries are reported at this time.
