Multiple agencies respond to situation on Magrath Darby Blvd attempting to apprehend suspect

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C (WCBD) — A significant police presence is in the parking lot of the Charleston Marriott on Magrath Darby Boulevard Tuesday night.

News 2 sees Charleston Police, Mount Pleasant Police and Charleston County Sheriff’s Office are on the scene. Law enforcement was heard over a megaphone asking a subject to exit his vehicle for arrest.

The suspect’s vehicle is surrounded by law enforcement.

Previously, police sirens were heard and seen coming down the Arthur Ravenel Bridge.
