Deputies respond to deadly crash on Savannah Highway in Ravenel

RAVENEL, S.C. (WCBD) – Emergency crews are responding to a deadly Friday morning crash in Ravenel.

Officials with the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) said one northbound lane of Savannah Highway between Highway 165 and Highway 162 is closed.

The single-vehicle crash happened around 6:30 a.m., according to Charleston County dispatch.

Deputies are on the scene and investigating the collision.
