Police investigating fatal North Charleston shooting

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — North Charleston Police are investigating after a fatal shooting Monday night, the agency announced.

NCPD spokesman Harve Jacobs said officers responded to a shooting in the 7800 block of Ginger Lane around 9 p.m. Monday.

Once on scene, first responders found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a local hospital by EMS, where he was pronounced dead.

Police say no arrests have been made, and the North Charleston Police investigation is ongoing.

The coroner’s office has not yet identified the victim.
