Fallen power line shuts down S Main St. in Summerville

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCBD) – A downed power line in the Summerville area has blocked roadways and caused traffic delays for Friday morning commuters.

The Summerville Police Department has closed South Main Street at West Richland St. to West Carolina Ave. while officials work to restore the power line.

Officers ask drivers to use alternative routes and avoid the area.
