Parking alert issued ahead of Friday events at North Charleston coliseum, performing arts center

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Parking at two North Charleston entertainment venues may be tight on Friday because of dueling performances.

Comedian Katt Williams is set to perform at the North Charleston Coliseum while guitarists Joe Satriani and Steve Vai will be playing in the North Charleston Performing Arts Center.

Officials say capacity crowds are expected for both; therefore, a parking alert was issued for the complex on Friday evening. Attendees are encouraged to carpool and arrive early due to limited space.

Performances are slated to begin at 8:00 p.m. with doors opening at 7:00 p.m. for the two venues.
