Zero Tolerance for Litter kick-off at SC State House
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WCBD) – The Zero Tolerance for Litter campaign kicks off Wednesday at the South Carolina State House.
Officials say this annual event unites all law enforcement in a dual mission campaign to enforce South Carolina state and local litter laws and to educate the public on the effects of litter in communities.
Zero Tolerance for Litter is hosted by PalmettoPride and the South Carolina Litter Control Association, representatives from each organization and special guests are expected to update the State on enforcement efforts underway.
The press event will start at 10 a.m. on the State House Steps at Gervais and Main Street.
