New student registration begins in Berkeley Co.

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – New student registration for the 2024-25 school year in Berkeley County School District (BCSD) will open on Wednesday.

BCSD’s registration process is web-based for all aspects of student registration, including document upload.

“New student” applies to:

• Students who are new to BCSD
• Students who previously attended BCSD but are returning after a withdrawal from the district
• Students who are qualified to enroll in Pre-K4 (CERDEP/Child Development)
• Students who are enrolling in kindergarten for the first time (not previously in PK in BCSD)
• Moving from one school to another (change of address)

Officials say those without the ability to register online must contact the school they are zoned to and make an appointment to register in person.
