Overcrowded: Charleston Animal Society offering free dog adoptions this week

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Charleston Animal Society is packed with dogs who are waiting to find their forever homes.

As the shelter experiences overcrowding, they are offering free adoptions on all dogs aged one year and over through Sunday.

If you’re willing to open your heart and home to a dog, stop by the Charleston Animal Society’s location on Remount Road anytime between 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

If you are unable to adopt a dog but still want to help, Charleston Animal Society is also looking for temporary foster families. Those interested should stop by the shelter or email [email protected].
