Man bitten by shark near Charleston Harbor jetties
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD)- A man was bitten by a shark near the jetties in Charleston Harbor Friday, according to Sullivan’s Island Fire and Rescue officials.
Officials said two people were diving near the jetties when they spotted a bull shark. The shark then bit one of the men on the arm.
The men were able to get back into their boat where they applied a tourniquet before driving themselves to the U.S. Coast Guard base, according to officials.
