Portion of Buist Avenue closed after truck strikes pillar

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Police have closed Buist Avenue at the railroad overpass due to a collision Thursday morning.

The North Charleston Police Department (NCPD) said a truck hit the bridge pillar at the overpass.

Drivers are encouraged to find an alternative route.
