SC Ports operations delayed again Tuesday
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Opening operations were delayed for a second day at South Carolina Ports’ marine terminals and inland ports.
The delays follow a software issue that impacted a server, according to SC Ports officials.
Tuesday’s opening operations are delayed until 8:00 a.m., and no cargo pickup or drop off will occur.
“SC Ports is working diligently to reintroduce systems following a vendor software issue that impacted a server. Work is progressing, and we are reintroducing systems as they become available,” officials said.
Operations were delayed several times Monday before the SC Ports announced service would not resume at all for the day. It was expected to reopen at 5:00 a.m. Tuesday.
