Employee dispute led to shooting at seafood restaurant: CPD
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — Police in Charleston are at California Dreaming Friday night after two employees had a dispute that led to a shooting.
Charleston Police spokesperson Michael Gillooly said officers responded to an aggravated assault report regarding the restaurant at 1 Ashley Point Drive.
Once on the scene, they discovered an employee suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a local hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.
Gillooly said there was no threat to the public, and the scene was secure. Officers are still at the restaurant, completing an initial investigation.
