Isolated showers, thunderstorm threat for Friday
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Isolated showers and thunderstorms are likely to hit the Lowcountry in the afternoon hours on Friday.
Storm Team 2 says showers and storms will be more likely around 2 and 3 p.m. The threat of showers and storms decreases after 8 p.m.
“One or two of these storms does have a risk of becoming severe,” says Meteorologist Josh Marthers. “There’s a risk of large hail and wind damage as we move into the afternoon hours.”
Temperatures will still be in the upper 80s with overnight lows touching the mid-60s to upper 70s, Marthers added.
