CPD investigates shooting at California Dreaming
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The Charleston Police Department is investigating after a dispute between two employees at a seafood restaurant led to one employee shooting the other.
Chris Stinson, Charleston’s Public Information Officer states the incident occurred in the kitchen at California Dreaming around 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
CPD says the restaurant had customers inside when the shooting occurred. No customers were involved or injured, reports say.
Officials say the restaurant closed for the remainder of the evening while officers and detectives conducted an on-scene investigation. No one is in custody at this time.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
