1 arrested after shots fired at Moncks Corner home, police say

MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (WCBD) – A woman is facing charges after shots were fired at a Moncks Corner residence.

Officers with the Moncks Corner Police Department responded to an address off Southwind Drive after dispatch received a call saying someone had fired shots at the home.

Two spent shell casings were found in the roadway during a search near the residence and at least two rounds struck an outer glass door. Neither round through the door.

No injuries were reported.

Detectives identified the suspect as 19-year-old Destiny Blount of Moncks Corner. She is charged with attempted murder, discharging firearms at or into dwelling, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.
