Charleston man charged with Sexual Exploitation of Minor

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office has charged a Charleston man on multiple counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor.

Nathaniel Lamar Cummings, 63, of Charleston is charged with 10 counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor in the 3rd Degree and one count of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor in the 2nd Degree.

Officials say a search warrant was conducted Thursday at Cummings’ residence in the 2200 block of Pinehurst Ave on several related charges related to sexual crimes involving children.

Cummings was given a security bond for $600,000 during a hearing on Thursday. He is currently being held in the Sheriff Al Cannon Detention Center, authorities say.
