Deputies make additional arrests in triple homicide
COLLETON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – The Colleton County Sheriff’s Office has made an additional arrest in connection to a triple homicide in Walterboro.
Justin Dupont, 23, was arrested and charged with three counts of murder along with co-defendant Jameek Glover whose charges have been upgraded to three counts of murder, according to deputies.
Colleton County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 100 block of Hayden Street on May 18 after reports of three deceased victims. Officials say they were shot to death in a targeted attack.
The victims were identified as 49-year-old Harvel Breland, 43-year-old Alisha Gardner, and a two-year-old child.
After the murders, deputies released an image of a vehicle believed to be involved in the incident. The vehicle was eventually located and authorities say it was identified as being registered to Jameek Glover.
Glover was previously charged with Accessory After the Fact to Murder, they have since been upgraded to three counts of murder.
“The Colleton County Sheriff’s Office is diligently working to bring the remaining co-Defendant involved to justice,” says Colleton County Sheriff’s Office officials.
Dupont and Glover are currently being held at the Colleton County Detention Center. Their bond hearing is set for Wednesday at 3 p.m.
