Charleston PD seeks help identifying West Ashley fraud suspect

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Charleston Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect they believe made numerous fraudulent purchases in West Ashley.

The suspect committed fraud at multiple Best Buy locations in Charleston, Sgt. Chris Stinson said.

On July 23, the subject used a victim’s identification to buy several items at the Best Buy on Sam Rittenberg Boulevard. The subject then returned the fraudulently purchased items to several different locations in the area.
