Reported shooting on James Island prompts road closures, CPD

JAMES ISLAND, S.C. (WCBD) – The Charleston Police Department is investigating a reported shooting that has prompted road closures in the James Island area.

Police have closed Central Park Rd between Riley Rd and Riverland Dr, and have additionally closed Flemming Rd between Brookgreen Dr and Central Park Rd.

According to the department, no one was struck by gunfire and no injuries have been reported.
