Murder suspect in manufacturing plant shooting surrenders, deputies say
GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) — Georgetown County deputies say a man accused of fatally shooting his co-worker surrendered Tuesday night.
Ethan O’Neil Brown, 20, of Nesmith, was charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. He is in custody at the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office awaiting a bond hearing.
Brown allegedly shot and killed his co-worker after an argument at the SafeRack manufacturing facility near Andrews. The victim was treated on the scene before being taken to a local hospital, where they died.
The coroner’s office has not yet identified the deceased.
