Starting with damp, freshly washed hair, I parted my hair in small sections via twists, applied the Mielle Organics Thermal and Heat Protectant Spray ($11.15, Walmart.com), and started my blowout using the medium dryer speed and the third heat setting.
The first thing that stood out was the drying wand’s weight — it was non-existent. During a typical blow-drying session, I have to take breaks because my arms feel sore. My final verdict
If I had to rate the Conair DigitalAIRE Drying Wand, I would have to give it a 9.5 out of 10. Unlike other blow dryers, the fact that this offering is truly lightweight is a game-changer. As a natural who prefers to minimize heat usage, the dryer wand’s ultra-care mode and fast-drying capabilities worked hand in hand to cut my blow-dry session time in half. Plus, the styling pick was gentle on my mane and didn’t leave behind any shed hair.
