Crash involving semi-truck closes lanes on Don Holt Bridge

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A multi-vehicle crash on the Don Holt Bridge is causing delays.

The Charleston Police Department said it was responding to an accident in the westbound lanes of I-526 atop the Don Holt Bridge around 11 a.m. Wednesday.

Police said the crash involved a tractor-trailer. Heavy traffic was seen in the area.

Two lanes were closed on the bridge while crews respond to the crash.
