Georgetown man arrested for trafficking methamphetamine
GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Deputies in Georgetown County arrested a man accused of trafficking methamphetamine Friday.
29-year-old Shyheim Gardner of Georgetown was charged with distributing trafficking amounts of methamphetamine.
Law enforcement executed a search warrant at Gardner’s residence and found about 846 grams of a substance that tested positive for fentanyl, according to the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office.
They also found cash, a loaded pistol, and ammunition. Additional charges are expected for trafficking fentanyl and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
Gardner was booked at the Georgetown County Detention Center.
The sheriff’s office narcotics unit and U.S. Homeland Security Investigations worked on this case.
