Deadly cement truck vs. car collision, North Charleston Police investigating
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The North Charleston Police Department is investigating a deadly collision between a cement truck and a car that left two people dead.
According to department spokesperson Harve Jacobs, officers responded to the area of Ashley Phosphate Road and Peppermill Parkway just after 3:30 a.m. on Saturday.
There were two people inside the car, both were pronounced dead at the scene.
The identities of the deceased have not yet been released.
The North Charleston Police Department Traffic Unit and the Charleston County Coroner are investigating.
