Two lanes reopen, one remains closed on I-26 E

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – An early morning collision prompted the closure of all eastbound lanes on I-26 for Monday commuters.

The collision occurred at mm 214 near the Bennet Yard Overpass.

Currently, the right lane is closed and traffic is moving through two lanes on I-26.

South Carolina Department of Transportation cameras show a heavy presence of emergency personnel.
