Crash, lane closure causing delays on I-26 W near Ridgeville

DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) — A crash has shut down lanes and blocked traffic on Interstate 26 Monday morning, according to the Department of Transportation.

The collision occurred on I-26 W at exit 187 near Ridgeville and Volvo Car Drive. The SC Department of Transportation says one right lane is closed. Traffic cameras in the area show major congestion.

Crews are working to direct traffic through the site, and signs are posted. Dispatch boards say the collision was called in at 10:14 a.m.
