Gun, drugs, cash recovered in North Charleston traffic stop
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A man is facing multiple charges after officers conducted a traffic stop and found guns and drugs inside his vehicle.
Neko Andre Tisdale, 41, faces multiple charges related to drugs and firearms.
According to the North Charleston Police Department, one of their officers was conducting proactive patrols on Ashley Phosphate Road on Friday evening when he stopped Tisdale’s car.
Officials say the officer smelled alcohol inside the car and had probable cause to search. He then located an empty wine bottle on the passenger side and also a 9mm handgun.
A bookbag was located on the backseat. Inside the bag contained the following :
- 253.7 grams of Fentanyl
- 92.5 grams of Methamphetamine
- 26.9 grams of Cocaine Base
- 288.9 grams of Marijuana
Tisdale is charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Trafficking Fentanyl, Trafficking Cocaine Base, Trafficking Methamphetamine, and Possession with the Intent to Distribute Marijuana
