Mount Pleasant police investigating string of neighborhood car break-ins

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) – The Mount Pleasant Police Department is investigating a string of car break-ins that occurred early Saturday morning in the HarborGate Shores neighborhood.

A resident saw someone breaking into a vehicle and called the police. The suspect took off on foot when officers arrived, and a short chase followed.

Authorities are still in the area looking for the suspect. They’re asking anyone with security cameras to check their footage or report any suspicious activity from this morning.
