18-wheeler load falls off trailer, spills on Savannah Hwy

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office has issued a traffic alert on Savannah Highway after an 18-wheeler’s load spilled on the roadway.

Authorities issued have closed one southbound lane near Earnest Hilton Road in Ravenel.

According to deputies, an 18-wheeler’s load fell off the trailer and spilled onto the roadway.

Officials say drivers should expect delays during their morning commute.
