MOJA Arts Festival unveils festival line-up for 40th Anniversary

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The MOJA Arts Festival is expected to unveil its full line-up and poster artist for its 40th Anniversary celebration.

The MOJA Arts Festival is a cultural event that highlights African American and Caribbean arts and culture. The festival will showcase a diverse range of visual arts, classical music, R&B music, dance, storytelling, traditional crafts, and more, celebrating global cultures.

Festival officials have scheduled the announcement for Tuesday beginning at 1:30 p.m. at Charleston City Hall.

“The festival promises a vibrant celebration of arts and culture throughout Charleston,” said MOJA Arts Festival officials.

Mayor William Cogswell, MOJA Artistic Director Charlton Singleton, and 2024 MOJA Poster Artist Demetrius Ging will be in attendance to make the line-up announcement.
