Charleston Police Department warns residents of vehicle break-ins

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The Charleston Police Department is warning residents of a recent string of attempted vehicle thefts and vehicle break-ins.

CPD detectives and investigators believe that a group of juveniles may be involved in the multiple thefts from motor vehicles and attempted vehicle thefts occurring over the past week, primarily in the North Central and Wagner Terrace neighborhoods.

If anyone in the area has any information or video footage from the early morning hours please share it with their tip line. Any details are valuable and could help solve these cases! Call 911 immediately if you see any suspicious behavior.
