Savor the sunshine: Saturday’s sunshine, warm temps, and clear skies
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Charleston is in for a delightful Saturday as sunshine and warmer temperatures make for an ideal day to get outside.
Meteorologist Grace Lowe notes that we’re “flirting with record highs today,” with temperatures expected to soar 10 to 12 degrees above average.
Today calls for clear, sunny skies, with highs reaching the upper 70s and mid to upper 80s, according to Storm Team 2.
Expect clear skies to continue as the sun sets, though some patchy fog may develop overnight. Tonight’s temperatures will drop to the upper 50s and mid-60s, providing a comfortably cool evening.
With drier air in place, the chance of rain remains low, making it a great day for outdoor activities. However, be prepared for a shift in weather tomorrow, as cooler air moves in, bringing a potential drop of about 10 degrees closer to the seasonal average.
Enjoy the beautiful day, Charleston!
