SCHP seeks vehicle involved in hit-and-run in Berkeley Co.

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – The South Carolina Highway Patrol is searching for a vehicle that struck a pedestrian and fled the scene in Berkeley County.

Authorities say a 2021-2025 Nissan Pathfinder hit a pedestrian on Sunday, October 27 around 2:40 a.m. on Red Bank Rd near Mars Lane.

Troopers say the color of the suspect vehicle is unknown but the vehicle should have front-end damage on the driver’s side.

The pedestrian sustained serious damage as a result of the collision, according to Highway Patrol.
