Police arrest suspect in fatal North Charleston club shooting
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Police in North Charleston have arrested a murder suspect following an October shooting on Remount Road.
29-year-old Adin Perez-Perez is charged with murder, attempted murder, and possession of a firearm during a violent crime, according to Harve Jacobs, spokesperson for the North Charleston Police Department.
Perez-Perez caught in Florida and brought back to South Carolina Thursday. He was booked at the Al Cannon Detention Center.
Officers responded to Caliente on Oct. 14 around 1:45 a.m. for reports of a shooting. Once on the scene, they found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound in front of the club.
The victim was later pronounced dead by the Charleston County Coroner’s Office.
The agency’s investigation is ongoing.
