White Women Are Wearing Blue Bracelets to Show They Didn’t Vote Trump

White women have taken to social media to show their solidarity and share with others that they were not among the white women who voted for Trump and that they are a “safe place” for others.  How are we supposed to know?  The way they have decided to show is by heading to craft stores to make and some sell blue beaded bracelets to wear.

This all started with a tiktoker named Libby Rae Lou who posted the day after her election that she didn’t know how to trust and sarcastically stated that blue bracelets would be a great way to know who they could trust.  Little did she know that this would start a social media trend igniting debates of intention and more!

But on the other end of this spectrum are women who think the bracelets are a cry for attention or being worn as a tactic to not be “shamed” for the possibility of being identified as a Trump voter.  Many women are expressing this also on social media. Some are calling to rid of the bracelets and put some real action behind the “movement”.
