Johns Island man charged with attempted murder in weekend shooting

JOHNS ISLAND, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities arrested a 44-year-old Johns Island man in connection with a weekend shooting that left a person injured.

Charleston County deputies were called to an address on Old Pond Road around 7 p.m. Saturday for reports of a nearby shooting.

Two people were found in the front yard of a home. Andrew Michael Fulp was arrested on charges of attempted murder and discharging a firearm into a dwelling.

He was booked into the Al Cannon Detention Center.

The other individual was taken to the Medical University of South Carolina for treatment.
