Onyx Collective’s ‘Reasonable Doubt’ Renewed For Season 3 At Hulu
Reasonable Doubt is getting a third season at Hulu, Variety reports.
The legal drama was the first scripted show launched under the Onyx Collective Brand at the Disney-owned streamer. It premiered on Hulu in 2022 and wrapped up its second season in August.
In the show, Emayatzy Corinealdi stars as Jacqueline “Jax” Stewart, who is described as “a Los Angeles-based high-powered criminal defense attorney, as she deals with past traumas, a struggling marriage, motherhood, and a murder case, all while trying to keep her life together.”
McKinley Freeman, Morris Chestnut, Tim Jo, Angela Grovey, Thaddeus J. Mixson, and Aderinsola Olabode round out the cast.
Anton Cropper is also an executive producer on the show, first produced under the ABC Signature banner before the studio was absorbed by 20th TV.
Reasonable Doubt is among the only two scripted shows under the Onyx Collective brand. Unprisoned was recently canceled after just two seasons, and the Natasha Rothwell-led comedy series How To Die Alone is currently awaiting news of a season 2 renewal.
We have our fingers crossed for Natasha Rothwell for a second season of How To Die Alone and are definitely looking forward to the return of Reasonable Doubt, which will, without a doubt, make it into our Black Watch list.
