Today Is The Last Day To File Your $2500 Cash App Claim
Time is running out for you to file a claim on a $2500 Cash App settlement.
A lawsuit filed in California accuses a former employee of Cash App Investing, and its parent company Block, Inc., of accessing user information without permission on two separate occasions. The companies are being accused of not properly protecting user accounts, and of not adequately resolving customer complaints about unauthorized transactions.

Cash App and Block initially declined liability for either of these accusations. However, earlier this year they agreed to a $15 million settlement.
Monday, Nov. 18th, is the last day to file a claim.
While the settlement has yet to be approved by the government, affected users could receive up to $2,500 for “out-of-pocket losses”, according to the company’s website. To file a claim simply CLICK HERE.
The claims portal is expected to close tonight at 1:59 a.m. ET.
There has been no timetable set for when affected users can expect to see any of the settlement money.
What Do You Need In Order To File A Claim?
Cash App says you’ll need to prove that your account was affected before you’re approved for any reimbursement.
Proof could include “a copy of a notification of an unauthorized account event, a copy of a police report related to an unauthorized account event, or a document demonstrating your account was accessed without your permission.”
There is one final approval hearing for the settlement taking place on Jan. 13th, 2025.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
