A warm and breezy Thanksgiving with a chance for rain
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD)—Thanksgiving will be warm, with a chance for showers later in the day.
Thursday highs will be in the mid-70s by the afternoon. Winds will pick up through the morning and Storm Team 2 said there will be a chance for a few showers and possibly some thunderstorms later in the afternoon and early evening.
If you are headed to the Turkey Day Run or need to pick up a few last-minute items at the grocery store, expect it to be mild and breezy. Morning shoppers can expect chilly temperatures on Black Friday with lows in the upper 40s.
Much cooler air will move in by Friday and through the weekend.
“This will be our coldest airmass of the season arriving just in time for the end of November, and the beginning of December,” said Storm Team 2 Meteorologist Josh Marthers.
